On June 28th, Cali turned six years old. Cali loves birthday parties and this one was no exception. Days before we were on the countdown. Hell, months before we were every other day telling her how many days it was going to be. She opted to not have a party this year. Although this may seem odd for a six year old to not have a party, read the alternative and you will understand why she picked it. For her birthday she received:

• Permission to pierce her ears (which incl. the piercing)
• A day at In’I, a hair and beauty salon in Toronto – She got her hair and nails done.
• A trip to Canada’s Wonderland
• A Ticket to go see the American Idol tour when it comes to Toronto
• An Avril Lavigne dress and cool swag

So as parents, we were shocked when she decided on this rather than the party – LOL ;}

At six years old she has an amazing vocabulary, quick wit and tremendously quirky. She is starting to really get into current and popular music which is awesome. I can’t stand kids music.

Her interets change like the direction of the wind, with a moments notice and to quote Munx herself

Dad, That was like so yesterday….Don’t you know that.

I love her dearly.
